Frequently Asked Questions
Archetypal Astrology
-
Think of your birth chart as an archeological site map showing where the treasures are buried. Regular astrology might tell you "you're a Scorpio" or list planetary placements. Archetypal astrology goes deeper - it reveals the primary archetypal forces that drive your motivations, patterns, and soul's original design.
I'm looking at the cosmic blueprint you came in with, then translating those archetypal patterns into practical guidance for your actual life. This isn't about sun sign generalizations or predictions. It's about understanding the fundamental forces shaping who you are beneath all the conditioning, so you can work with your design instead of against it.
-
Nope. Not a thing.
I translate everything into plain language that makes sense for your life. You don't need to know what a trine is or memorize planetary symbols. I handle the technical excavation work, and then give you the insights in ways you can actually use.
Come as you are. Your job is to be curious about who you really are beneath the surface. My job is to map the terrain.
-
This one's tricky because archetypal astrology needs accuracy. Even a few minutes can shift things significantly.
If you don't know your exact time, here's what to try:
Check your birth certificate (most reliable source)
Ask family members who might remember
Contact the hospital where you were born for records
If you genuinely can't find it, let me know before booking and we'll talk about whether the work can still be helpful for you. I'd rather be honest upfront than take your money for something that won't give you the depth we're both after.
-
Personality tests tell you how you currently behave or think. Your birth chart shows you who you came here to BE - before the world taught you to shrink, perform, or conform.
Think of it this way: a personality test is like describing the furniture currently in your house. Archetypal astrology is the original architectural blueprint showing what the structure was designed to hold.
Both can be useful, but one reveals conditioning while the other reveals your cosmic fingerprint. I'm interested in excavating what's been true about you from the beginning, so you can stop exhausting yourself trying to be something you're not.
-
Absolutely not.
You're a multifaceted human bean with treasures buried beneath accumulated layers - not a broken object that needs fixing.
And I don't predict futures. I'm not a fortune teller. I help you understand your authentic design so you can make better decisions aligned with who you actually are. The future you create from that place will be more sustainable and satisfying than anything I could "predict."
I might tell you where you've been swimming upstream in your own life, or where you're performing instead of being authentic. But that's about clarity and self-compassion, not judgment.
-
Your primary archetypes are the dominant forces running beneath your conscious awareness - the core patterns that shape how you move through the world, what motivates you, what exhausts you, and what brings you alive.
Think of them as the main characters in your internal cast. When they're working together well, life feels more aligned and sustainable. When they're in conflict or one is trying to do all the work, you feel stuck, exhausted, or like you're constantly fighting yourself.
They matter because understanding them gives you the map to your own depths. You stop judging yourself for things that are just part of your design. You start working with your natural patterns instead of trying to force yourself into someone else's template.

Depth Work
-
Depth work means excavating what's buried beneath the surface—your authentic self under all the conditioning and performance.
This isn't therapy. I'm not treating mental health conditions or processing trauma. I'm helping you uncover who you came here to be using astrology, divination, and mortality awareness as tools. If you're in crisis or need mental health support, please reach out to an appropriate professional.
-
I work with mystical tools - astrology, tarot, mortality awareness - but everything translates into practical life application. You'll get concrete steps, not just cosmic philosophy.
If you're at least open to the idea that there's more beneath the surface than what you can see, you'll be fine. I'm not asking you to believe anything specific, just to stay curious about what wants to emerge.
-
Absolutely. That's why I offer different entry points.
Start with my newsletter for lighter touch. Grab the "3 Questions Death Would Ask You" workbook for a taste of the work. You can also check out my YouTube channel and podcast to get more of a feel for things first.
The Foundation Session is for when you're genuinely ready to excavate. Trust yourself to know when that is.
-
Most coaching and self-help is about building - setting goals, creating habits, becoming "better."
Inner Archeology is about excavating (meaning… uncovering who you've always been beneath who you were taught to be). We're not constructing a new you. We're unearthing the authentic self that's been buried.
I use your birth chart as the map, mortality awareness as the catalyst, and divination to illuminate what's ready to surface. This is cave dweller work, not surface optimization.
-
Maybe. Maybe not. 🤷🏼♀️
Foundation Sessions are recorded videos (no live call required), so you process on your own time. Deep Dives offer an optional live call if you want that space.
Emotions often come up when we excavate what's been buried, and that's normal. But this isn't about forcing tears or breakthrough moments. It's about seeing yourself clearly, which sometimes feels like relief and sometimes feels like grief for the years you spent being someone else.
-
That's part of the excavation. We all have shadow aspects, conflicting archetypes, patterns that aren't serving us.
But here's the thing: understanding why you are the way you are creates self-compassion, not judgment. When you see the archetypal forces at play, you stop thinking something's wrong with you and start working with your actual design.
The "things you don't like" are usually just parts of you that need integration, not elimination. Or they're places where you've been trying to be someone you're not, and discovering that is actually the relief you've been seeking.
Divination
-
Primarily tarot and oracle cards. Sometimes I'll pull from my own Identity Card deck that I created specifically for excavation work.
The cards aren't about fortune-telling; they illuminate what's already present in your depths but hasn't made it to conscious awareness yet. They show what's ready to be seen.
-
I'm not predicting your future or telling you what to do. The cards reveal what your soul already knows. I'm just lighting the path so you can see it more clearly.
I also integrate divination with your archetypal patterns and current life context. It's not a standalone reading; it's part of the larger excavation process of uncovering your authentic self.
-
No and no.
I don't predict futures. 🙅🏼♀️ I illuminate present depths. The cards show what's alive in you right now, what's ready to surface, what needs attention.
And I won't tell you what to do. You're the authority on your own life. I provide clarity and reflection so you can make decisions aligned with your actual self, not from performance or fear.
-
Yes. I translate everything into plain language relevant to your actual life.
You don't need to know card meanings or mystical symbolism. I handle the interpretation and show you how it connects to what you're experiencing. You just bring your curiosity and willingness to see what wants to be seen.
-
The cards don't "say" things in the way you might fear. They're not delivering bad news or sealing your fate.
They reflect what's already present - sometimes that includes patterns you've been avoiding or truths you haven't wanted to face. But seeing those things clearly is how you move forward. Staying in the dark about them doesn't make them less real; it just keeps you stuck.
The discomfort of seeing truth is temporary. The relief of finally understanding what's been going on? That lasts.
Identity
-
That's exactly why this work exists.
Most of us have been performing acceptability for so long we've lost track of what's real underneath. Your birth chart is the map to who you came here to be before the world taught you to shrink or conform.
Not knowing is the perfect starting place. We excavate together.
-
Notice where you feel exhausted vs. energized. Notice what you do when no one's watching. Notice what you're pretending not to know about yourself.
Performing feels like swimming upstream - constantly effortful, never quite enough. Authenticity feels like coming home, even when it's uncomfortable or unfamiliar.
The work helps you see the difference more clearly so you can choose differently.
-
It might. That's the honest answer. 🤷🏼♀️
When you stop performing the version of yourself others need you to be, some people won't like it. But staying small to keep others comfortable is exhausting yourself at the expense of your own aliveness (ask me how I know).
The people who love the real you will adjust. The ones who needed you to stay small? That tells you something important about the relationship. 👀
You're not here to be everyone else's comfort object. You're here to live.
-
No. It's necessary.
Living inauthentically - performing for others while your own needs go unmet - doesn't actually serve anyone. You end up resentful, exhausted, and half-alive. That benefits no one.
When you're living from your authentic self, you have more genuine energy to offer. You stop giving from depletion and start sharing from fullness.
Selfishness is demanding others shrink so you feel comfortable. Self-honoring is refusing to shrink yourself. There's a difference.
Mortality Awareness
-
Because nothing clarifies what actually matters faster than remembering your time here is finite.
Morbid would be obsessing over death in a way that makes you fearful or paralyzed. Mortality awareness is the opposite - it's using the truth of your limited time to cut through all the bullshit you've been tolerating and start living like you're actually alive.
Death is the most honest advisor you'll ever have.
-
Maybe. Depends on why you're uncomfortable and whether you're willing to sit with that discomfort.
If you're terrified of death and that terror is debilitating, this might not be your starting place. But if you're uncomfortable because our culture teaches us to avoid thinking about it, that discomfort might be exactly what needs exploring.
We don't dive into death work unless it serves your excavation. It's a tool, not the whole toolkit.
-
I ask: If you only had limited time left, would you still be doing this? Would this still matter? Would you still be waiting for permission?
Mortality awareness cuts through procrastination, people-pleasing, and living for some imaginary "later" that might never come. It helps you get honest about what you're actually here for.
It's not about living every day like it's your last - that's exhausting. It's about living like your days are numbered, because they are.
-
Not usually, no. Most people find the opposite—facing mortality directly actually reduces anxiety because you stop running from the truth.
When you acknowledge death as real and inevitable, you stop wasting energy pretending otherwise. That's weirdly freeing.
If you have existing death anxiety or panic around mortality, this work might intensify that temporarily. If that's your situation and you’d like to move forward anyway, make sure you have appropriate mental health support in place.
-
"Live every day like it's your last" is performative urgency that ignores reality. You can't actually live that way - you'd be exhausted and bankrupt.
Mortality awareness is grounded truth: you have limited time, you don't know how much, so what are you doing with it? It's not about cramming experiences or performing aliveness. It's about getting honest about what actually matters to you and stopping the patterns that keep you from living accordingly.
One is spiritual bypassing. The other is practical wisdom.
My Language
-
Cave dwellers are people who know that caves can be beautiful places. They're not afraid of the dark, the depths, or going inward. They understand that the most valuable treasures are buried, not sitting on the surface.
If you're reading this, you're probably a cave dweller. You know there's more beneath what most people are willing to look at, and you're drawn to that depth rather than repelled by it.
-
Artifacts are the clues your authentic self has been leaving you - the books that made you cry, the moments that took your breath away, the childhood fascinations you abandoned, the things that pull at you when you're not performing.
Soul breadcrumbs are the same thing. Your soul has been trying to get your attention, leaving you signs about who you really are and what you're actually here for.
We excavate those artifacts to reveal the authentic self that's been waiting underneath.
-
It's being who you think you should be instead of who you actually are. Shrinking to fit others' comfort. Performing the version of yourself that gets approval, even when it exhausts you.
Most of us have been doing this so long we don't even realize we're doing it. We think the performed version IS us.
The work helps you see the difference between performance and authenticity, so you can choose to stop performing.
-
Ordinary Magick is when Life seems to be communicating with you through everyday synchronicities - the same message showing up across multiple books, repeated number patterns, unexpected animal encounters, running into exactly who you need when you need them.
It's not fantasy magic. It's the recognition that there's more happening than random coincidence, and paying attention to those moments reveals guidance.
You recognize it by how it feels in your body - that sense of "this means something" that you can't quite explain but absolutely know.
Results
-
Depends entirely on you and what you do with the insights.
Some people have immediate clarity that shifts how they make decisions right away. Others need time to integrate and experiment before changes become visible. The session gives you the map - but you have to actually walk the path.
If you engage with the work, try the experiments, and start choosing authenticity over performance, you'll notice shifts within weeks. If you just consume the information without applying it, nothing changes.
-
Then we need to look at what "doing the work" actually means to you.
Real change requires choosing differently, not just understanding differently. If you're gaining insights but still making all the same choices from the same patterns, that's not doing the work - that's just collecting information.
The work is uncomfortable. It means disappointing people sometimes, releasing old identities, trying things that feel awkward at first. If nothing's changing, something's not actually shifting in your choices and behaviors.
-
For the Foundation Session, you'll get archeological journaling prompts to deepen your excavation. Whether you use them is up to you - but the more you engage, the more you'll uncover.
For Deep Dives and ongoing work, I'll suggest experiments tailored to your archetypal patterns. These aren't mandatory homework, but they're how you integrate insights into actual life changes.
You get out what you put in. I provide the map and tools; you do the digging.
-
It means engaging with the insights I provide - not just intellectually understanding them, but actually experimenting with living differently.
It means choosing authenticity even when performance feels safer. Trying the experiments I suggest. Paying attention to your patterns. Making different choices based on what you're uncovering about your authentic design.
My role is excavation and illumination. Your role is integration and embodiment. Both are required for transformation.
-
Yes, but not in the way you might expect.
I won't tell you whether to take the job or leave the relationship. Instead, I'll help you understand your archetypal patterns, what actually energizes vs. exhausts you, and what alignment with your authentic design looks like.
From that clarity, you'll make better decisions yourself. You'll know what questions to ask, what to pay attention to, and how to choose from your actual self instead of from fear or performance.
The decisions become clearer when you know who's making them.
Working Together
-
You're ready if you're genuinely curious about who you are beneath all the layers, and you're willing to see what gets uncovered - even if it's uncomfortable.
You're not ready if you're looking for someone to fix you, tell you what to do, or make your life easier without you having to change anything.
If you're reading these FAQs and something in you keeps saying "yes, this," trust that. Your soul knows when it's time to excavate.
-
Foundation Sessions are comprehensive 90-minute archeological expeditions into your primary archetypal patterns, natal chart, and current planetary influences. This is your first excavation - the big picture map of who you came here to be.
Deep Dives are focused sessions for returning clients who want to dig deeper into specific life areas using their archetypal foundation. You need the Foundation first; Deep Dives build on that base.
-
No. Deep Dives require the archetypal foundation we establish in your first session.
Think of it like archeology: you can't excavate a specific chamber until you've mapped the overall site. The Foundation gives us both the language and framework we need for deeper, focused work.
Start with the Foundation. Then we can dig into specifics.
-
Start with my newsletter (free) to get a feel for my voice and approach. Grab a workbook or mini-course for a taste of mortality awareness work.
When you're ready for the full archeological expedition, the Foundation Session ($300) is the entry point. I don't offer payment plans currently, but the recorded format means you can revisit it indefinitely as you integrate.
-
Completely. I don't share client information, chart details, or session content without explicit permission.
Occasionally I share anonymized client transformation stories in my content, but only with permission and with all identifying details removed. If you don't want your experience shared in any form, just tell me - no problem.
-
Then don't use it. You're the authority on your own life.
I'm providing a map based on your archetypal patterns and what I see in your chart. Sometimes insights land immediately; sometimes they make sense later; sometimes they don't fit at all.
Take what resonates, leave what doesn't. If nothing lands, that tells us both something important - maybe this isn't your modality, or maybe the timing's off. Either way, trust yourself.
-
No. This isn't therapy or crisis support.
If you're actively suicidal, in acute crisis, or need mental health treatment, please work with a licensed therapist first. I'm happy to work alongside your existing mental health support, but I can't be your primary support system.
I work with people ready to excavate their authentic selves, not people who need emergency stabilization. Know the difference, and honor what you actually need.
