what are identity cards?

put simply they’re bespoke oracle cards, that you create, centered around facets of human identity.

more specifically, these are facets of identity that you would like to experiment with implementing in your own life.

 what we’ll do 

you’ll start out on your dashboard in the resources module, where you’ll find a playlist to create to (if you choose) and access to the words list and materials list. both of these are living documents and may grow and change over time.

from there you’ll move into the welcome and overview area where you’ll learn exactly what we’re going to do (i find it so helpful to have a solid idea ahead of time. you too?).

then we’ll take a small pause for some quick background info around why this is important and how to get more support if you’d like it.

then we dive. i’ll show you (on video) the supplies i’m using and what all i’ve got ready before we start.

then we put paint to paper. i have two 20-minute-ish videos where you can paint alongside me. followed by a few short videos on how to choose your cards, cutting and shaping your cards, then putting words to paper. (YAY!)

then there are a couple more videos on pulling it all together and ideas for how to work with these cards moving forward. then a quick what’s next and you’re on your way with bespoke cards!

  • the live workshop was already held.

    this version is a brand new (not a recording of the live workshop) self-paced version that you’re welcome to watch and re-watch as you like.

  • no worries at all. the materials list is more suggestions and ideas vs what is REQUIRED to make something you love and find super useful.

    you truly could do this with a piece of paper and writing implement.

  • no worries there either.

    i’ll be sharing my own ideas (from cards i’ve already created as well as any news ones i create over time).

    not to mention, there are so many fun places to pull ideas from, and we’ll be doing a brief exercise with this as part of the class.

  • no. please purchase with consideration.

  • i do not. if you’re into that method of working with cards you create, you’re welcome to do that, though, for sure.

  • you can read more of my response here, but in short… identity is pretty much everything.

    if you’re craving something in your life (an experience, a relationship, a certain career, etc..) but don’t see yourself as the type of person who HAS (insert whatever you listed above here), then you either won’t ever experience that thing you’re craving, or you’ll have it then lose it in pretty short order.

    again, i say: identity is everything.
